Visiting Artist for Miss Niles' Class

Every other Friday for the school year, Miss Niles' class will be joined by Bradie Hansen (Jacob's mom) to teach us about fiber art.  We will be learning about fibers and making projects as well.  Today was our first visit.  We watched a slide show and learned about all the different kinds of fur and plants that are created into yarn.  The children also used their science notebooks to make observations in Bradie's Fiber Museum. They had the chance to feel and observe fur and wool from a variety of animals!  Be sure to ask your child about what he or she observed.
